BREAKING: Police called to 'serious assault' on Wilmslow Road
There is currently no police cordon in place. Greater Manchester Police released a statement this evening saying they were called to reports of a man with serious injuries following an assault.
A spokesperson said: "At around 7.15pm this evening police were called to a serious assault on Wilmslow Road, Manchester "Officers and NWAS attended and one man in his 40s has suffered serious injuries - he is currently receiving medical attention.
