Police found these in a car they pursued after it failed to stop for officers in Leeds last night
West Yorkshire Police officers in Leeds received a frightening reminder of the unknown dangers the police face on a daily basis after a vehicle failed to stop for the force late on Monday night.
After the vehicle had failed to stop, officers from the WYP Roads Policing Unit recovered a huge knife, balaclava and crowbar left behind by the suspects. They posted an image of the items on Twitter in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Police said: "Vehicle fails to stop for us in Leeds. The occupants left their belongings behind. Our officers never know what danger they face on a daily basis."
West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for further comment on the circumstances of this case, and to confirm of the suspects have been located.Find recommendations for eating out, attractions and events near you here on our sister website 2Chill
