A huge water leak in Beeston has sent water shooting into the air - and some tram stops cannot be served as a result. Footage shows a large amount of water has flooded Gwenbrook Avenue due to a water main burst on Tuesday afternoon, March 7.
Video from the scene shows a towering spray of water shooting into the air next to houses on the street. The leak has flooded the the surface of the road. Some nearby tram stops are unable to be served as a result. In a statement on Twitter, operator NET said: "Due to a burst water main, we have no service between Cator Lane & Beeston. NCT Orange Line buses are currently accepting our tickets and passes. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
