Huge queues for bottled water in Morecambe as United Utilities say taps are back on
Huge queues have formed at an emergency water station in Morecambe despite United Utilities saying that taps came back on this morning.
Shortly after 6am today , they issued an update saying: "Just to let you know, all customers in the areas taps should now be flowing. However, you may still see us out and about in the area over the next few days as we still have some work to do and will continue to monitor the area for any further issues."We’re sorry if this causes any disruption but we will try and keep this to a minimum. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
It is one of three three bottled water stations the area where one pack of water is given per person. LancsLive has contacted United Utilities for an update and clarification on the latest situation. The sites will be open from 8am to 8pm, except Festival Market which will open at 9am.
