On the Graham Norton show last night, Hugh Jackman thanked the cast and crew of 'The Son' for supporting him through the death of his father.
The Wolverine star, 54, plays a lawyer learning how to navigate his teenage son’s depression in director Florian Zeller’s follow up project to 2020’s The Father.In September last year Christopher John JackmanSpeaking about the loss, Hugh has said it was an emotionally charged time on set already with the content of the film, which only increased while he battled the emotions of losing his father.
In the middle of shooting the drama, Hugh got the news that his father had died, but made the decision to continue working instead of taking leave to go home.
