A review of 'governance and transparency' has been ordered after revelations the party has been without auditors for six months

According to Mr Yousaf, an interim report on the review is expected in June and a full, public report is due in autumn., prior to becoming leader, that the previous auditors resigned more than six months ago.

His speech took place in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West constituency at a campaign event, where the party could face a by-election. If Parliament accepts a recommendation to suspend her for 30 days, a recall petition and a by-election in the constituency could be triggered if 10 per cent of voters back a call for her removal.. He said: “I think it will be a challenging by-election for us. I’m not going to pretend otherwise in the context of Margaret’s actions, plus also last week has been difficult.
