Police previously said that they would be searching a wooded area.
A HUNT has been launched for a pair of men in balaclavas trying to rob people in the West End.
The men rode around on a motorbike in the Woodlands area of Glasgow on Saturday evening in an attempt to swipe handbags and mobile phones from unwitting pedestrians.As well as wearing balaclavas, they wore hoodies., possibly a moped, with no registration number. Cops are probing the incident and are urging any witnesses or people with CCTV footage to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Laura Roberts said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen these men or who may have witnessed any of the incidents.“Anyone with any information should contact Police“Alternatively, a call can be made anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
