Husband charged with murder after being arrested in Scotland four days after wife found dead
THE husband of a nurse found dead in Leeds has been charged with her murder after he was arrested in Scotland, police have confirmed.Eileen was found with "serious injuries" at her home on SundayHer husband Mark Barrott was then arrested in Scotland four days later on Thursday.
In a statement released today, West Yorkshire Police confirmed that he has now been charged with her murder.Speaking earlier this week, Chief Inspector Vanessa Rolfe said: "We would like to thank all the members of the public who contacted us with information, and also our colleagues in Police Scotland for their assistance and support with this investigation."
