Now I understand the hype
I've been seeing a lot of denim maxi skirts recently, and the retro look is definitely a throwback to say the least.
I really wasn't willing to spend loads of money on something that I wasn't sure would suit me, so I took a trip to Primark in the hope of finding a bargain. I often find that Primark's denim section can be a little hit and miss with sizing, so I didn't hold much hope.When visiting Primark on Church Street, I came across a gorgeous denim maxi skirt for £18 and knew I had to snap it up.
Let's just say, as soon as I got home and tried the skirt on, I was shocked at how much I loved it. I do appreciate that something like this may look better on a taller person, but I actually felt really good and confident in this denim skirt. As a whole, I was really impressed with the sheer quality of the skirt, and although it was denim, the skirt was super soft and breathable which was really nice. For me, there's nothing worse than wearing some denim and it being too tight around your stomach, it's just uncomfortable, which is why I much prefer wearing leggings or joggers.
