Could I get a decent amount of Halloween goodies for a tenner?

It's that time of year again. The summer is over and you're probably already being nagged over plans for Bonfire Night and Christmas.

We got the costume online from George at Asda a few weeks back before products hit the shelves. They've arrived in person now and oh boy, is it time to go and have a look. Straight away I knew I was in luck, with a huge selection of goodies priced between £1 and £3. We're talking crafts, banners, signs, and other token gifts.

For a quid, there was some 'bloodcurdling' bunting. Only two metres long but enough to give indoors or the entrance to your house a spooky feel as the big day nears. Two more rather left field buys were hanging felt decorations in the shape of Frankenstein's Monster and a generic witch. Tacky and fun, which sometimes is all Halloween should be.
