When asked about getting promoted and returning to League Two for the first time since 2008, Phillips told Ally McCoist: “Oh Ally, I’ve seen some fantastic games at the Racecourse over the years but nothing comes close to Saturday afternoon. It was unbelievable!”
“I went for a quiet bit of dinner yesterday to the Fat Boar pub in town and little did I know that the whole team were upstairs having dinner themselves!” he explained.
