It comes with its own little pot of gravy 😍
Sometimes, I just want to order a sandwich and not have to deal with the stream of questions that are blasted at me like Nerf darts over the counter.
Now, for full disclosure I did not travel to the Fylde coast purely to eat said sandwich, but I certainly would do again. I visited when lunch service had only just started and I already knew what I was going to order - the hot roast beef and onion barmcake served with rich gravy and shoestring fries .
The tiny silver pan full of smooth, dark gravy sits next to a pot of fries. "What am I supposed to do with that?" my friend, pointing to the gravy jug, told me he had said to his server when his arrived. Confused, as if the answer was obviously, "just pour it on" they answered.
