'I did nothing to my dated £215,000 home and walked away with a hefty £18,000 profit'
A woman has made a hefty £18,000 profit on her property despite not doing any renovation work at all. Nikki, a mum-of-five, bagged a three-bedroom house in Crewe at auction for £215,000.
Presenter Jacqui Joseph was tasked with visiting the property in August last year. She described it as "pretty dated" but was impressed with the size. In fact, she lived just at the back of the property so immediately had her eye on it when it went up for auction. She told Jacqui that property development was a hobby she'd juggled with a full-time job.
The mum did point out that he would be wearing a hard hat, steel-toe-capped boots and following all the right health and safety precautions. But when the crew returned four months later, Archie hadn't got his wish.
