For so long, I was terrified of looking at my bank account.

It all started when I went to university. There were delays in my first student loan payment – it ended up being several months later than it should have been. So that just put me right into the limit of the top studentThat was fine for a few years because I didn’t have to pay any fees on it – but in the 10 or so years since then, I’ve never been able to make it out of the money pit and now I have to payIt was awful for so long; I just felt so stressed, all the time.

I’m currently working for their Health & Wellbeing Group and their HR department; and I assist their Quit Smoking cessation programme as well.took a huge toll on my stress levels.It’s been a decade of trying never to treat myself to even the smallest thing; of wearing shoes with holes in and of always wondering whether I’m going to go past the agreed overdraft limit.

I’ve had that text at some of the worst times ever – like at the very start of December one year. I’d think…‘What?! Where did my money go?’.
