The pair shot to popularity during their time in the villa after meeting during Casa Amor and remaining coupled up until the end.
And now the social worker turned reality TV star has opened up about her heritage, telling OK!:"I only really started to look into my heritage when I was on Love Island when people started to question if I was Indian or Caribbean - people didn’t understand what Indo/Caribbean was."I have always felt like I’ve had a bit of an identity crisis because I haven’t felt like I fit in with the Indian culture, but I also don’t feel like I fit in with the Caribbean side either.
And in a photo shoot Sanam got in touch with her Indian heritage as she donned stunning traditional outfits and jewels.
