In many ways, it’s easy to think of Lily’s like a small chapel. It’s hidden away, and has a small but dedicated following who are dying to take you there.
The shepherd of the Lily’s flock is therefore Dinesh Vadher. The 56-year-old, who calls Werneth in Oldham home, says he spends loads of his time in the trendy neighbourhood.What’s your favourite view of the city or in the city? The city’s changing very much, it’s always getting built up. I really like the way Victoria Station’s changed — it used to look old, now it really looks like you’re somewhere.Where would you take someone to show them the real Manchester?I’ll say Ancoats, I’m always round here!City or United?I’d try to make it cleaner, I don’t enjoy people throwing rubbish — they take the food and chuck it in the road, and we all get a bad name.
