'I’m a hoarder and spent six months decluttering my home - it was a nightmare until I tried the Swedish Death Clean method'
It turned out she'd been hoarding loads of stuff without even realising it, like empty tampon boxes and perfumes she hadn't used in years.
Eventually, Mia managed to clear out tonnes of stuff she doesn't use or was taking up vital space in her home and felt all the better for it. She said: "After six months of decluttering my house I can honestly say it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders for multiple reasons. "One, a lot of the clutter is gone, two, I know where everything in the house is, three, all the items I'm donating will get a new life and be loved by someone else."
The unusual method added "realistic and harsh outlook on decluttering" for Mia, but overall it was the push she needed to get the job done."I would encourage you to slowly tackle it over time, you don't have to get it all done in one sitting," she said. Some rooms had more junk than othersCredit: Youtube/Mia Maples
