Following Wilder’s defeat to Tyson Fury in their second fight in 2020, the Bronze Bomber drastically changed his structure and appointed Scott as his new head trainer before the trilogy fight in 2021.The pair have since posted many training videos showing Wilder smashing the pads in the gym. But Scott has now revealed that this routine is taking its toll on his body due to Wilder’s legendary power.: “Not cortisol, stem cells. I need to start getting stem cells.“The doctors put my X-ray on a screen in the Tyson Fury camp and told me I’ve got about another year-and-a-half and then I’ll need reconstructive surgery.Thankfully for Scott, Wilder has made it clear that he does not intend to be in boxing for much longer.
