'I ordered a cake from Costco but they took my instructions WAY too literally… I don’t know whether to laugh or cry'
Instead, they drew exactly what they wanted on the back of the order form with another reminder they wanted "no writing/design" on the cake.
"Only red frosting on perimeter for top/bottom," they wrote, alongside of a small illustration of a cake with red lines where they wanted the icing. But it seems the picture and explanation didn't translate well enough and the cake decorator just copied their picture on the top of the cake. So instead of a really simple design with no picture, they got their own artwork of the cake on top the cake.
