'I overheard my teen's teacher insulting her looks - she doesn't know I'm her mum'
Other parents couldn't believe another teacher would speak so badly about a students appearance, although one wasn't that shocked.
They wrote: "I've had some experience of teachers' lounges and I think this kind of chat is quite common.The mum asked if she should report the incident, "it was really unprofessional, obviously she had no clue it's my daughter but it was so derogatory," she said." Some parents reckoned she should confront the teacher, one said: "I'm just thinking it would be a far more powerful lesson for the teacher to be aware of the potential impact of her words, and who might be listening."
