The Dyson Airwrap is a popular choice for those wanting to curl their hair, but from an eye-watering £479.99, it's out of reach for many families this Christmas.One product that is being compared to the high-end model is the BaByliss Air Style 1000, and with it being reduced from £70 to £46.66 at Boots, it seemed like a more affordable option.
Hundreds of customers have praised the product for its multifunctional ability at a budget price with many comparing it to the Dyson, saying 'it does the same thing with same results and a fraction of the price'. It both dries and styles your hair and comes with four interchangeable attachments to dry, smooth, volumise and curl.The Air Style sure kicks out some heat, so as well as having to be careful not to get too close to my daughter's head, I made sure I used the handy heat glove to stop my own hand getting too hot as well.Using this made it much quicker and it seemed a lot easier to get some volume and add the curls than previous products we've used.
For our first attempt I was pretty impressed. Like with most things at Christmas time, it was a bit of a rush job, so I'm sure given a bit more time I'd be able to use the volumising thermal brush to its full effect and make it even bouncier.The BaByliss Air Style 1000 is available to order on the Boots website.
