A NINETIES popstar has revealed he quit fame to become an IT teacher at a school in Northern Ireland.
Bassist Tim Brown, who is best known for his time as part of The Boo Radleys, waved goodbye to fame almost two decades ago to take on the teaching role.Tim and his bandmates Steve Hewitt, Simon Rowbottom, Martin Carr, Rob Harrison and Rob Cieka rose to fame in the 1990s. They were among the first in the Britpop movement to form in the late 80s, before hitting the big time in 1995 with their hit single Wake Up Boo!
Their number one album Wake Up! followed, later releasing albums Help, C'mon Kids, Kingsize and Find the way Out.
