'I saw a women die in front of me... We needed help that just wasn't there' A British Sudanese medical student who fled Sudan to Egypt has described 'dire' conditions at the border
, where they arrived on Tuesday last week.
“Every bus’s situation was dire. For us personally, we had two people with special needs, we had a few elderly, we had the infirm… a lot of people fleeing because they needed medicine or they needed certain care that they cannot get,” he said. “I saw a women die in front of me,” he said. “She had already collapsed by the time I arrived and I saw people crowding around and they managed to stand her up.
