The playmaker has agreed to make a season-long loan switch to the La Liga outfit.
But the kind words from the Romania international have been taken by some sections of the Ibrox support that the season-long exit could become permanent. Michael Beale had admitted to holding honest chats with the player over his game time with the playmaker keen to play more after recovering from a serious injury last season.
"Because ultimately that's what I thought will make me fall in love with the club and make me happy. Well, I managed to do that, but that wasn't it. "This is definitely not a goodbye, we'll meet again someday I'm sure, but until then, go smash it! Once a Ranger, always a Ranger!"
