In the final part of our Chris Wilder exclusive, the watfordfc head coach talks about what makes a good player
“To be a good player you have to outrun and outfight teams, and that was one of the biggest lessons I learned from the Premier League.
“First of all, Liverpool outrun and outfought us. They won more first balls, more second balls, they won most first contacts in both boxes, they ran further and quicker than us, they won more duals. Wilder made it clear that while technical ability is clearly important, he expects his players to be ready to roll their sleeves up whenever it’s required.
