The first episode focuses specifically on body hair. Are pubes bad? Can girls get facial hair? The kids have some endearingly inaccurate beliefs: hair down there is dirty, and it spreads STIs. To combat this, we are introduced to the show’s “Naked Brigade” who – while robed – discuss their own experiences of body shame.

Richard Stacey took up naturism 10 years ago and has never felt happier. As a child, Richard Stacey used to hate his body. Unlike most people he knew, he was circumcised and quickly internalised the belief that his body was wrong. Then he started getting. “It’s been massive,” he says.
“There is space for positive nudity, which isn’t always sexual,” he says. “We find this by seeing normal people, not celebrities that are airbrushed, just doing normal things. If we see other people leaning over and getting that little pouch that we all get, we become more comfortable with our own. That’s how we start to like our bodies more”.Frequent nudity also dispels the engrained idea that nakedness is embarrassing.
