sees us wielding powerful magic as a young Magus in an endless war. If you can't wait to play this fresh IP, which takes advantage of Unreal Engine 5, you might be pleased to know that the chances of a delay are now considerably lower, as Immortals of Aveum has gone gold.on the Immortals of Aveum website, Ascendant Studios founder and CEO Bret Robbins has announced that the game has gone gold.
Immortals of Aveum is a magic-based FPS game set in an original fantasy universe, which sees us step into the shoes of Jak, a newly recruited Magus in the Order of the Immortals. Thrust into the center of an endless cosmic war, Jak and his comrades must uncover the secrets of Aveum's past to save its future.
"When I founded Ascendant Studios, I had little more than a game concept, some notes, and the trust of my investor Brian, to create an independent AAA studio. I had no team, no tech, and only a vague idea on how to start such an ambitious project. Fast forward five years, and I think we have an epic, beautiful, and really fun game that came out of the passion and hard work of the team," Robbins continues.
"On behalf of the Ascendant team, I can’t wait for all of you to play the game and experience the world we have created. This is our first game and the first chapter of our company. It’s only the beginning. See you on August 22 when Immortals of Aveum is released!", so take a look if you'd like a peek at some of the things we can expect to get up to.
