th’, organised by Fairweather Productions in association with Windrush 75 networks, has once more produced a variety show showcasing an array of super talented African Caribbean women and Windrush voices, marking mother’s day as we prepare to mark the 75The show has enjoyed huge success in previous years rolled out across several UK cities reaching audiences of thousands, while playing in prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall – and this year is set to be another smash hit.
Added to the entertainment on the night are special guests and speakers including actress Carmen Munroe, Alisa Flemming, Civic Mayor of Croydon, Marcia Dixon Religious Blessings, Christine Giscombe motivational speaker, Carol Glenn Motorsport, and Amanda M Alexander of Female Dignity.There will also be a free women’s expo, which people are encouraged to attend from 17:00 – 21:30 with stands and businesses owned by women.
Queen of Lovers Rock artist Carroll Thompson, highlighted what performing at the event means for her having supported for many years. This International Women’s Day & Mother’s Day stage show has been in production for 29 years and I have performed for over 18 years.”
