CHSq returns to Belfast this week with a stellar lineup of concerts at Custom House Square throughout August.
With nine concerts across the month, Belfast Live got an exclusive look behind the scenes as preparations are made ahead of this year's festival."We are back for our 15th year at Custom House having started in 2008," promoter Joe Dougan told Belfast Live. "It is essentially a variety entertainment night we have B*witched on the lineup, we have Example, their own MCs on stage, there is a comedy element to it and it is a show that has been very popular in Dublin but this is the first time they will have done it in Belfast."
"The fact that so many acts have had great shows here in the past from Tom Jones, Paramore, Nine Inch Nails, The 1975, it does make it easier to sell but even at that, getting 10 international acts to come to Belfast in the middle of August comes with challenges."
