Belfast pub owner Willie Jack and some of his door staff feature in new artwork by Ciaran Gallagher
He's well known for his murals of political heavyweights but now artist Ciaran Gallagher has put the focus firmly back on some of the city's familiar faces.area of the city, many commissioned by Willie Jack., owner of The Duke of York pub.
Last year, his depiction of the Tory leadership contenders Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak in a boxing ring went viral and the Hill Street artwork made its way into national press outlets around the world. "We usually brainstorm different ideas for murals and develop it further. We do have a lot of famous people in the murals but we also like to try and include some of the regular Belfast characters who are known in that area.
