His Majesty King Charles made a momentous visit to RAF Coningsby yesterday, where he met distinguished Second World War veterans and their present-day counterparts in the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.Alongside them were BBMF aircrew and ground staff, as well as Typhoon pilots and ground crew from 29 Squadron.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight displayed an awe-inspiring backdrop of World War II Spitfires, Hurricanes, and a Lancaster bomber, evoking a sense of history and valour.
