Concerns have been raised over the future of staff at Renfrewshire's only five-star hotel after it plunged into administration.
He told The Glasgow Times:"This news will be incredibly concerning and worrying for over a hundred workers and their families. The staff have provided a five-star service for many years.
"Given its importance and reputation, I hope these jobs can be retained and the future of the business can secured as quickly as possible." Ms Don said:"I share the worries and uncertainty that all members of staff will be feeling at this time, especially due to the additional pressures of the cost of living crisis.
"As options for sale are explored over the coming weeks and months, I have called on the administrators to do everything they can to protect these jobs and reach a positive outcome."I have also offered to meet with Mar Hall to further discuss this situation, and offer my support to all those affected during these difficult times."
