Many of the hundreds of people injured in India's latest railway disaster are being treated at the overwhelmed hospital of Balasore, a small town in a poor part of the West Bengal state in the east of the country.
One of the volunteers who rushed here to help described blood all over the floors as the hospital tried to cope with the number of casualties.
