Ribble Valley chef who can't get enough of Blackburn Indian takeaway famed for its chutneys
When she is not accepting awards, Stosie Madi is busy in the Parkers Arms kitchen, crafting a menu that screams 'locally-sourced.' Stosie is head chef and co-owner of gastropub is in the tiny village of Newton-in-Bowland and recently added a gold prize for her mutten pie at the British Pie Awards to the venue's title as the number one gastropub in the country.
"We are a pub serving great food and we are delighted to be recognised for it nationally. We never take anything for granted. "We are still on cloud nine." "My days off are Mondays and Tuesdays and sadly most places are closed on those days but a treat meal for me would definitely be Lisa Allen at Northcote."
