An abandoned McDonald’s restaurant on an Alaskan naval base, that has seemingly been untouched for decades, is going viral on Twitter, featuring Jurassic Park promos and 'a working McFlurry machine'
The deserted store, found on an Alaskan naval base on Adak Island, which is part of the Aleutian Islands, was originally set as an outpost for Army and Navy bases during World War II, according to the National Park Service - but when the naval base was abandoned in the 1990s, many of the town’s residents fled the area and businesses were forced to close down, explains Los Angeles Times.
