A beautiful Lake District hotel has reopened after undergoing a multi-million transformation. The Waterhead Inn is set on the banks of Windermere and is now open to guests following a mammoth 10-month refurbishments,
The Lake District hotel, which is operated by The Inn Collection Group who also own The Angel Inn in nearby Bowness and Morecambe's iconic art deco establishment The Midland, has also had significant work carried out on the exterior.The new design features soft mood lighting, bold patterns and contemporary fixtures and fittings. The re-design optimises the views over Waterhead Bay meaning guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of the lake's northern shores.
There is also a focus on simple seafood dishes, with Halibut, Sea Bream and Turbot all on offer alongside a host of traditional pub favourites. "There has been a phenomenal amount of work put in over the last nine months which people will see from the moment they come through our doors. It is a real credit to everyone who has worked on the project.
