'Bumpy everything was the aim!' says Molly Goddard of her new tulle-filled paradise in DSM.
Nestled among the Mark Goddard sculptures and glass cabinets filled with archival fabrics and unseen fitting pictures is a line of exclusive DSM T-shirts, made in the style of the Rory Gleeson tees the show crew wears each season. “They always have an artwork connected to the show so are a great memento to have,” explains Goddard, who commissioned Betty Larom to do the new graphics. “The old ones bring back such good memories for me, and this is the first time we are selling them.
”Equally special are the new handbags premiered in the space. “We worked with our signature bumpy bag styles, but introduced new fabrics and scales – the XXXXL laundry bag is my favourite,” explains Goddard. “As part of the takeover, we also created bumpy cushions to display all the bags. Bumpy everything was the aim!” Intrigued? Get on down there and bask in the textural paradise that is the work of Molly Goddard.
