Reignmaker have made the jump from back garden school gigs to the big stage
Reignmaker, a Scouse indie band, thrilled the audience at Hangar 34 last night in the Baltic Triangle. Fully aware that this was their biggest gig yet in Liverpool, the band rose to the occasion.
Lead singer Jude Williams was a standout, with the crowd hanging by his every word. There was a touching moment when he thanked his mum and dad in the crowd, a reminder of the band’s youthful spirit. The group of friends started the band just five years ago with back garden gigs while they were still at Gateacre School.
The crowd were proved right a few minutes later, but were still left very surprised. Dave McCabe, from legendary Scouse band The Zutons, was on stage with them, and led an amazing rendition of Valerie.
