GOAL!! Deadlock broken at the Oval - and in some style!
There was plenty of Irish League action on Friday night with games spread across the Premiership and Championship.
We had three fixtures in the top-flight including a big one at the Oval where Glentoran took on champions Larne. The Glens won their opening game of the season in dramatic fashion, while Larne were held to a 4-4 draw by Dungannon Awifts. Elsewhere on Friday night, Crusaders kicked-off their campaign a week late when they travelled to Ballymena United, who lost 2-1 to Coleraine seven days ago.Dean Smith's side claimed an impressive win over Newry City last Saturday, but could they back it up?
And in the Championship there was a tasty clash at Clandeboye Park as derby rivals Bangor and Ards locked horns.
