An Irish tourist has died after a horrific accident in Thailand, where he is reported to have fallen from a moving train.He had been travelling on a tourist visa and was on the train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi on Tuesday.The train was packed with other tourists and had slowed for views of a scenic spot when the accident occurred.
Local media have reported that Mr Ward may have been trying to take a photograph when he fell about seven or eight metres down the slope from the train. Outlets local to Thailand have also said that the incident may have been captured by another tourist.It is believed Mr Ward was an Irish citizen, who was originally born in New Zealand.
