NBA 2K24 crossplayahead of the new game. No game in the NBA 2K series has featured crossplay before, so this is a big step forward for the game now it has been confirmed.
Crossplay is already widely available in other sports titles. The feature will allow players using different platforms to play and compete with each other. However, not all players will have access to crossplay in NBA 2K24. As seen in the trailer, crossplay will exclusively be available in new-gen only. This means players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will have access crossplay in NBA 2K24. Unfortunately for players still using PS4 or Xbox One, you won’t be able to play with friends on other platforms.Pre-orders for NBA 2K24 went live on July 7, and a crossplay reveal trailer was released at the same time. Crossplay will only be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players, but there is some good news too.
NBA 2K24 crossplay will be available across all game modes. The announcement came with the words “no restrictions”, although I’m sure PS4 and Xbox One users won’t feel that statement is entirely accurate.NBA 2K24 will release this year as 2K Sports has confirmed the pre-order period.NBA 2K24 will not be a next-gen exclusive.
