A Scottish man has been 'horrifically murdered' in Israel, his family has said - amid concerns that more than 10 Britons are feared dead or missing in the country. Bernard Cowan was originally from Glasgow - and in a statement, his family said: 'We are grieving the loss of our son and brother, who was horrifically murdered on Saturday during the surprise terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas.
