Foreign Secretary James Cleverly is pressing for the border at Rafah to remain open for UK nationals to secure safe passage into Egypt
Palestinians with dual nationality register to cross into Egypt on the Gaza Strip side of the Rafah border At least 88 British citizens are on the list to be allowed to leave Gaza on SaturdayThe first group of British people were allowed to cross the border at Rafah into Egypt on Friday after the border was opened to foreign nationals for the first time in weeks.
Israeli defence forces admitted they have sought to target ambulances, claiming they are being used as cover to move Hamas terrorists around the area. Foreign Secretary James Cleverly is pressing for the key border crossing at Rafah to remain open for more UK nationals to secure safe passage out of Gaza., with the in-laws of Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf among those confirmed to have made it out.
He wrote: “Did every person who attended that march truly wish to associate themselves with acts of such barbarity? I sincerely hope that they did not. People search through buildings that were destroyed during Israeli air raids in the southern Gaza Strip
