For those concerned about how their own relationship will weather the astrological storm, Rachel Wright, a psychotherapist based in New York, is here to remind us that break-ups have no time- frame or limit. “Because celebrities in our culture are in the spotlight, it’s really easy to say, ‘oh my goodness four people are going through break-ups’, but we don’t hear about every break-up from every person in the world,” she says.
Venus being in retrograde is also not always a bad thing for relationships, says Bell. “If you’re in a good relationship and there aren’t any issues, I wouldn’t worry about a break-up out of nowhere,” she says. “It’s more just that the relationship might be a bigger focus. Even people getting married is super common.” The same goes for this year’s “nodal transits”, with the north and south nodes recently changing from the Taurus-Scorpio axis to the Aries-Libra axis on 17 July.
