ITV bosses defend Holly and Phil after backlash over 'skipping queue'
This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield paid their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II as her coffin is Lying-in-State in Westminster Hall on Friday.
Many angry viewers took to social media to share their outrage at Phil, 60, and Holly, 41, "not standing in queue" like the other mourners to pay their respects to her late Majesty. One noted that celebrities such as David Beckham and Susanna Reid queued up as they said: “So disgusted at Phil & Holly for using the "celebrity staus" and not queuing like everyone else to see the Queen lying in state - unlike David Beckham & Suzanna Reid !!!!! They should be sacked”.
