On March 4th, ITV confirmed Love Island WILL be returning this summer. Announcing the channel's spring schedule, Managing Director of Media and Entertainment Kevin Lygo said:"There’s so much to look forward to on ITV this spring and into summer, with the Euros and the return ofIf it sticks to the pattern of previous years, the dating show should drop at the beginning of June and run for eight joyous weeks until August, while the winter series lasts for six weeks.
