EXCLUSIVE: 'Jacques’ LoveIsland ordeal feels familiar - my mental health suffered,' admits Jake Cornish
This year's Love Island has been turbulent, to say the least, with four fiery bombshells now in the mix and Adam Collard, 26, asking to be "exclusive" with Paige Thorne, 24, just one week after his shock return.
"I really wanted Jacques to win! He’s such a good fella, I was gutted he chose to leave," he tells us. It's been a year since Jake left the villa with ex girlfriend Liberty Poole, 22, and he recalls what it was like for him when he returned back home. The star shared his thoughts on Luca Bish, 23, and 26 year old Dami Hope's recent behaviour after Luca was shown egging the boys on in Casa Amor.
"When I was speaking to Liam, I didn’t want to speak about X, Y, Z. They told me, ‘Jake, just remind him he’s 21 years old, he’s a young lad.’ All of that kind of stuff. You do what they say and then it backfires on you because they know how to make good TV."
