Jak & Daxter-inspired 3D platformer Clive ‘N’ Wrench is finally releasing in February.
Starring Clive the rabbit and best friend Wrench, the game takes place across 11 levels including the prehistoric ice age in Iceceratops, to ancient Egypt in Tempus Tombs.Inspired by genre classics like Spyro the Dragon and Jak & Daxter, Clive ‘N’ Wrench began its journey back in 2011 by sole developer and superfan, Rob Wass.
“Clive ‘N’ Wrench has been a huge part of my life over the past 10 years,” commented Wass. “This project has been a real labour of love for me. I’m beyond excited for everyone to get their hands on Clive ‘N’ Wrench when it launches early next year.” All physical standard editions of the game will also feature a mini-booklet which includes a breakdown of the duo’s special moves, which the developer says is “a nostalgic throwback to classic 3D platformers.”
A Collector’s Edition will also be available for players to purchase, featuring the game’s soundtrack, exclusive character cards, fridge magnet and a full colour manual.
