Jamie O’Hara jokingly leaves talkSPORT studio following heated debate about Martin Odegaard AFC
A player who has set the benchmark as a creative midfielder in recent years is Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and it was a comparison between the two stars that led to a friendly debate between Cundy and O’Hara.Cundy said: “I’m just repeating what Darren said, Odegaard is the best number 10 in the league right now. I agree with him.”
O’Hara snapped back disbelievingly: “You agree with him? So if I give you a game tomorrow and you can have Odegaard or Kevin De Bruyne in your team to play in a cup final, who would you pick?” Cundy replied Odegaard was his man and was sure he knew the reason for O’Hara’s growing irritation. “It’s because he’s Arsenal, isn’t it? You’re bitter about Spurs at the minute. What’s going on?”
O’Hara replied: “I’ll tell you what’s going on. I sit here for 18 months, having to work with this absolute idiot of a man who puts Odegaard in front of Kevin De Bruyne.
