Manchester City have been tipped to make a summer transfer window move for Rennes winger Jeremy Doku
Manchester City have been linked with a move for Rennes and Belgium winger Jeremy Doku during the summer transfer window.
Who is Doku? Jeremy Doku was born in Antwerp, Belgium to Ghanaian descent. He started his career at Anderlecht in 2018, making 37 appearances and registering six goals and seven assists for the club across three seasons. In October 2020, Doku signed for French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes for €26 million. Where does he play? The youngster is a fast, skilful and versatile winger who can play on either side of a front three, which makes him a perfect fit within Manchester City’s system of constantly rotating attackers alongside Foden, Bernardo Silva and Grealish.
Julien Stéphane, sacked as Rennes manager in March 2021, said: "I was immediately charmed by his positive attitude. He is very eager to learn. He listens to a manager. He adapted very well.
